So in the last few months, my husband, mother-in-law, and I have been working on a new project! It’s pretty huge actually. We have purchased a cabin rental resort up north in Michigan on Lake Huron. It has a lot of potential, but right now there is still a lot of work to be done as well. There are ten cabins in all, 6 2 bedroom and 3 studio, (and manager’s cabin). Right now three of the 2 bedrooms are ready to be rented out, and the rest need a lot of work. We should have two more ready by the end of the month, but we still have to put in new floors, and entire new bathrooms and kitchen cabinets and everything. The studios will need even more work!
So we’ve been hanging out there a lot lately getting roofing done and everything. It is a nice spot though, and will be great for family reunions as people keep telling us! We have 9 acres of land, as well as access to the beach on Lake Huron.
Anyway here is the website if you’re interested, I’ve been working on it for the last couple days, but like everything it needs more work! We decided to name it The Last Resort, as it’s sort of the last cabin rental resort on the way north on US 23, about 4 miles north of Oscoda.
